About the Contest:

Concern for Community is one of the guiding principles at Cooperative Energy and our 11 Member electric cooperatives. That is why we are excited to recognize the volunteers who make a real difference in the communities we serve through the Powering Possibilities Community Service Grant.

The Powering Possibilities Community Service Grant gives employees and consumer-members of the following cooperatives the chance to nominate a volunteer who has made a positive impact in their local community:

Coahoma Electric
Coast Electric
Delta Electric Power Association
Dixie Electric
Magnolia Electric Power
Pearl River Valley Electric
Singing River Electric
Southern Pine Electric Cooperative
Southwest Electric
Twin County Electric
Yazoo Valley Electric Power Association

One outstanding, qualifying nominee from each of the 11 Member electric cooperatives will be selected as the local winner and will have a $1,000 donation made in their name to a local, qualifying non-profit organization.

Nominations are open June 29 – July 31.
